Lighting Maintenance Plan
Your landscape lighting resides in an ever changing environment and is exposed to the elements. Proper routine maintenance will protect the system and ensure that your home or business is always beautifully illuminated.
At our annual visit we will:
- Test voltage at all transformers and fixtures to ensure they are operating within recommended performance windows
- Add extensions, move and re-aim fixtures where plant growth has blocked illumination
- Tighten all screws and bolts on all transformers
- Chemically clean all lenses to remove mineral deposits and dirt
- Treat for ant and insect control on all ground-mounted fixtures
- Lubricate all moving parts and seals of each fixture
- Apply protective silicone sealant to contacts and sockets to prevent corrosion on fixtures and transformers
- Trim vegetation, if necessary, to ensure full effect of lighting design
- Check and rebury any exposed wire
- Replace ALL lamps (For those not on our Maintenance Program –a Service Call fee is $85 plus materials for just one visit)
- Check controls for proper performance (X10, Photocells)
- Set proper operating times
Irrigation Service
If you own an irrigation system, it is important to schedule appointments each year for spring start-up service and winterization service. Our technicians can perform the routine maintenance that is necessary to keep your irrigation system in good working order and to ensure that you are prepared for the change of seasons.
Winterization Service
Our technicians will turn off the water supply and prepare all the lines to prevent freezing, cracking and leakage.
Spring Start-up Service
Your system will be turned on, tested and adjusted for the early spring growing season. This ensures your lawn and landscape will be off to a healthy start.
